Edward S. “Ted” Silman, age 86, of Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, May 17, 2006. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today (Tuesday, May 23, 2006) from 10 a.m. until Noon followed by a celebration of his life at Noon with the Rev. Michael I. Orsted officiating.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 will conduct Military Rites at the Chapel of Memories in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Interment will follow.
