Betty A. Burke, 73, of Joppa, Md. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 10:28 a.m., on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Aire, Md. Surviving are her husband James R. Burke; two sons: N. Edward Kincheloe and his wife, Deborah of Hunker, Pa. and Charles T. Nyland and his wife, Arlene of Carmichaels; three daughters: Brenda Baker and her husband, Robert of Annapolis, Md., Cynthia O. Arnold and her husband, Arty of California, Pa. and Maria L. Cerar and her husband, Randall of Abingdon, Md.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Catherine Pearson of Alachua, Fla., and June Hoffman of West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday in the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, May 27, 2006 with the Rev. Jana Quisenberry officiating
