George “Puggy” Stanovich, 92, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at the Uniontown Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Barbara Coleman and husband, Ed of Hudson, Fla., Marlene Voytovich and husband, Tom of Braznell, Pa., Rose Lee Ross and husband, Jack of Brownsville, Pa. and Michelle Kraft and husband, Robert Jr. of Uniontown, Pa.; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Novak Funeral Home, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A Panachida Service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, May 27, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m., in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Brownsville. A Parastas Service will be held Friday at 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
