Barbara Polink DuBac
Barbara Polink DuBac, 76, of Fairchance, Pa., died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born August 17, 1929, in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of Ignatius Polink and Magdalyn Globus Polink.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. DuBac, sisters and brothers, Mary Katalinic, Kate Smith, Joe Polink, Frank Polink, Tony Polink, Steve Polink and John Polink.
Surviving are two children: Lisa Azzardi and husband, Jeff of Fairchance, Pa. and Rebecca Wood and husband, Edward of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren: Jay and his fianc?, Amanda, Briana, Lexi, Eddie and Hanna; brother, Paul Polink and wife, Cindy of Carmichaels, Pa.; sister-in-law, Mary Polink of Fairchance, Pa.; special niece, Susan Clay and other nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 27, 2006, until 11:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held. A Mass of Christian Burial follows at noon in the Ss. Cyril & Methodist Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, Pa., with Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
A Parish Wake Service will be held Friday evening at 8:45 p.m.
