Pinardi’s Pizza opens in Allison
Pinardi’s Pizza & More is a four-generation Italian family-run operation at 404 Filbert-Orient Road, New Salem (Allison). Located “on the pond,’ the shop’s grand opening will be held June 3. The shop specializes in pizza, offered in 12-inch, 16-inch and square sizes, including Chicago-style, with dough that is made fresh daily.
In addition to pizza, the shop’s menu includes house specialties such as Adam’s Bread, Big Al’s Burger, The Godfather’s Hot Sausage Hoagie and Philly steak and cheese hoagie, and Char’s hot fudge brownie delight made with Bear Foot Brownie Hershey’s Ice Cream. Other foods include steak salads, antipasto salads and Hershey’s Ice Cream, candy swirls, milkshakes, root beer floats and more.

Kids are also invited to fish at the pond and feed the ducks.
For the grand opening, the 12-inch round pizza will be on special and all kids will receive a free ice cream cone between 1 and 4 p.m.
A DJ will spin records all day.
Owners and operators are Angelo and Bobbie Jean Pinardi; their sons, Adam and Anthony, and daughter Angie; their father and mother, Albino (Sonny) and Charlotte (Bunny) Pinardi; their sister, Charlotte Burgess and her husband Tommy Burgess; their grandmother, Theresa Pinardi-Toth; and their brother, Mark Pinardi, his wife Joann and son Mark.
