Wanda R. Price Gors
Wanda R. Price Gors, age 52, of Shoaf, Fayette County, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 27, 2006. She was born November 29, 1953, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Robert Price and Belva Wooten Price of Uniontown.
Wanda had owned and operated The Foothill Grille restaurant at 444 East Main Street, South Uniontown.
She loved to laugh, cook, garden, party, play bingo and gamble at both Wheeling Downs, West Virginia, and Las Vegas, Nevada (“Slot Machine Sally”).
More than anything, she loved to cook and bake for her family!
She was predeceased by her infant sister, Kimberly Kay Price, and grandparents, Tom and Ethel Wooten and Violet and Kenneth Welsh.
Wanda is survived by her three children: Vicki Thompson and her husband Merle, Uniontown, Pa., Keith Gors II and his fianc?e Rachel Wilson, Masontown, Pa., and Jarred Gors and his fianc?e Jennifer Spedden, Shoaf, Pa.
Wanda’s three most important people in her life were her grandchildren, whom she loved more than life itself: Lindsey Sierra Thompson, Taylor Elizabeth Thompson and Keith Emery Gors III.
She is also survived by her parents, Robert and Belva Wooten Price; nine brothers: Stanley Price and his wife Esther, Bobby Price, Ellis Price and his fianc?e Emma, Kevin Price, Michael Price and his wife Brenda, Leonard Price, Richard Price and his wife Rhonda, Steven Price and his wife Sandy and Chuck Price and his wife Tammy; and two sisters: Dianna Walters and Lisa Price Rodeheaver and her husband Francis. Also left to cherish Wanda’s memory are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends whom she cherished and loved and her loving mother-in-law, Betty Gors, of Shoaf who made her home with Wanda.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 31, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Services begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gary R. McFadden officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethel Memorial Park, Farmington, Pa.
