Lura Jane Fox Mulcahy died peacefully in her home at the age of 103 on Saturday, April 15, 2006. She was born on October 23, 1902, in New Berne, WV. The daughter of Isaac Fox and Alice Ballentine Fox. She grew up in Weston, WV and lived in Uniontown, PA in her later years with her sister, Roxie Fox Cornell

Lura was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Thomas B. Mulcahy in 1972. She was the youngest sister to Carl B. Fox, Bessie Fox Payne, Roxie Fox Cornell, Blaine Fox, and French Fox, all deceased.

For the last twenty years, Mrs. Mulcahy made her home in Orlando, Florida with her niece, Betty Cornell Hirsch and husband, Joseph.

Beloved by her numerous nieces and nephews living in the Uniontown area, she will be missed and honored at a memorial service in Uniontown, PA on June 2nd.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the memorial to be held at LaFayette Memorial Gardens, Route 40 West at 11a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Law-Baker Funeral Home in Utica, Ohio.
