Anthony “Tony” J. Santore
Anthony “Tony” J. Santore, 72, of Dunbar, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 1, 2006, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa., He was born February 24, 1934, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Peter Santore and Wanda Sosinsky Santore.
Mr. Santore was a mold maker for over 35 years for the now former Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation in Connellsville, Pa.
He was a member of the Polish Club in Connellsville.
Mr. Santore was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Benjamin and Charles Santore and one sister, Nattie Sauer.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Hall Santore; children, Anthony J. Santore Jr. and his wife Dana of Dunbar, Pa. and Robin Johnson of Dunbar, Pa.; grandchildren, Jason Santore and Benjamin Santore and his wife Nicole, Julee and Savanah Johnson; step-grandchildren, Erica, Erin and Eric Pritts; great-grandchild, Isabella Santore; two step great-grandchildren, Zachary Pritts and Julianna Angeline; and sister, Paula Scneff of Ohio.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, October 4, from 2 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held in the Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
