Margaret “Maggie” Bailey, 86, of California, Pa., died Sunday, October 1, 2006. She was born Friday, June 11, 1920, in Lonaconing, Maryland, a daughter of the late John Calvin Andrews and Alice (Emerson) Andrews.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Bailey Jr. on July 22, 1995, daughter, Connie Harris on June 1, 1992, and three sisters, Helen, Ester and Stella.

Left to cherish her memory are her grandson Pete Harris and his wife, Pam of Scenery Hill; son-in-law, Jack Harris of California, Pa.; two sisters, Lois Poteray and Rene Sutherland both of Spears, Pa.; two brothers, Calvin Andrews, of North Jersey, and Sonny Andrews of Jeanette, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Saint Thomas Aquinas Church on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Father Paul Merkovsky as Celebrant.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa.

Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
