Mark E. Greskovich
Mark E. Greskovich, 50, of Brownsville, Pa., (Low Hill), died Sunday, October 1, 2006, in his home after a brief illness. He was born January 7, 1956, in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of John P. and Edith Manfredi Greskovich of Low Hill, who survive.
Mr. Greskovich was a 1974 graduate of Beth-Center High School, where he excelled in baseball, football and basketball.
He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1978 and received a Master’s Degree in Safety Engineering from West Virginia University in 1982.
He was previously employed by Stone and Webster Engineers in Boston, MA, General Dynamics in Groton, CN, and was currently employed as a Manager in Production for Mylan Labs, Morgantown, West Virginia.
Mark was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He loved his dog Buckie.
Mr. Greskovich was a member of the Saint Michael Archangel Church of the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish where he served as an Altar Boy for 10 years during his school years.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, John Paul Greskovich and his wife Carol of Gambrills, Maryland and James Greskovich of Oakdale, Pa; his companion, Brenda Collins of Centerville, Pa., and Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, Pa. today from 2 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Saint Michael Archangel Church of the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, with the Rev. Francis Nazimek as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Saint Oliver Plunkett Parish, PO Box 638 Fredericktown, PA 15333.
A Parish Vigil Service will be held today at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
