Fred L. Williams
Fred L. Williams, 89, of Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Scottdale, Pa., died Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born August 2, 1917, in Connellsville, Pa., he was the son of the late Edna Leeper Williams and Joshua L. Williams.
He was retired from Chemical Leaman Tank Lines Inc., and along with his only son, Richard L. Williams Sr. of Scottdale, was the proprietor of multiple businesses.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Katherine (Connors) Williams, who died February 20, 1996, one sister, Dorothy Cavanaugh, and two brothers, Howard Williams and William Williams.
He is survived by his son, Richard L. Williams Sr. and his wife Marjorie of Scottdale, Pa.; one granddaughter, Melissa Williams Schofield and her husband, Paul of Scottdale, Pa.; one grandson, Richard L. Williams Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother, Levi Gilbert Williams and his wife Blanche of Bullskin Township; and several nieces and nephews.
