Martha L. Walters Radabaugh
Martha L. Walters Radabaugh, 76, Fairchance, Pa., died Monday, October 2, 2006, with her family by her side. She was born November 25, 1929, in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of the late James J. Walters and Mary Alice Augustine Walters.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Clifford A. “Cliff” Radabaugh, on September 4, 2006.
Martha was a faithful lifetime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Fairchance where she taught Sunday School, was a Choir member and served in many offices over the years sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader in Fairchance.
She was a graduate of the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing, became a registered nurse and was formerly employed at the Uniontown Hospital and West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Most important, Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and homemaker.
Surviving are her loving children, Kathleen Morris and husband Dennis, Connellsville, Pa. and Melinda Weltman and husband Bill of New Castle, Pa; four grandchildren, Megan Morris, Sarah Morris, William Weltman and James Weltman, her brother, Clifford R. Walters and his wife Ruth of Connellsville, Pa; nieces and nephew, Susan Smalley, Clifford Walters Jr., Dianne Trapuzzano and Carolyn Colvin.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, October 6, 2006, until 10 a.m. the hour of service with Rev. Dr. Joong Koe and Rev. Maggie Foreman officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
