Annabelle Kenny Walleck
Annabelle Kenny Walleck, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, (formerly of Parma Heights, Ohio) with her loving niece, Tammy and friend and caregiver, Wendy by her side at Mount Saint Macrina Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on December 18, 1917.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Walleck; four sisters: (Sarah, Ethel, Hazel and Jane) and her parents, Rebecca Jackson Kenny and William Kenny.
Annabelle will be sadly missed by her loving sister, Bertha Ortmann at Mount Saint Macrina Manor Nursing Home; two nephews: Gene Thorne of Markleysburg, Pa., and Jack Thorne and wife, Carol of Aurora, Colorado. She also leaves behind her great-nieces and nephew: Beth Thorne of Denver, Colorado, Tara Cortez (husband James) of Sewickley, Pa., Tamara Kaufman (husband Harry) of Uniontown, Pa., and John Thorne (wife Holly) of Pittsburgh, Pa., and eight great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Sisters, Staff, Nurses, Residents and Hospice Caregivers at Mount Saint Macrina Manor for their exceptional care, love and support.
Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2006, at 5 p.m., at Mount Saint Macrina Manor Nursing Home Chapel, Uniontown, Pa.
