Twila Darlene Spak
Twila Darlene Spak, 75, of Masontown, Pa., died on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born on June 6, 1931, in Continental 2 , Pa., daughter of Clyde Conn Goodwin and Claire Yvette (Yowler) Goodwin.
Her parents, and husband Carl Spak, preceded her in death.
“Darlene” was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and an excellent caregiver, and a wonderful homemaker, she enjoyed baking and was a fantastic cook, her family and grandchildren where the light of there life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Rita Malesky and husband, Thomas of Masontown, Pa.; Chuck Spak and wife, Susan of McClellandtown, Pa.; Marilyn Kubala and husband, Ted of Smithfield, Pa., and Linda Shoaf and husband, Brad of Star Junction, Pa.,; and four grandchildren: Charles, Jessica, Gregory, and Anna Marie Spak.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006, at a time to be announced, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa., with Rev. Father Donald P. Trexler as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to Fayette County Association for the Blind, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church.
