Richard A. “Rick” Swank Sr., 50, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., (Bullskin Township), died Thursday, October 5, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. He is survived by mother, Margaret “Peggy” Swank, of Wooddale; wife, Joyce L. Smitley Swank; a daughter, Nicole Swank, at home; a son, Richard Swank Jr., at home; sisters, Mrs. Ron (Jackie) Zubic, of Brownsville and Andrea Swank, of Connellsville; and brothers, Jack Swank, Jr., of Scottdale and Brian Swank, of Wooddale.

Friends will be received at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 1 p.m. Sunday.
