Doris E. O’Neil, 82, of Coal Center, Pa., died Friday, October 6, 2006. A graduate of California High School, class of 1941 and Douglas Business School.

During World War II she worked in a defense factory in Detroit, Michigan and later in Zacks Department Store in California, Pa.

Surviving are husband, Robert O’Neil; son, Jack L. O’Neil and wife, Darlene; daughter, Patricia Wilson and husband, William all of Coal Center; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, John Donaldson and wife, Jackie; and brother-in-law, Robert Garrett.

Friends will be received in the Ed Melenyzer Funeral Homes, Inc. Roscoe, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, October 9, 2006, until 11 a.m.
