Frank E. “Funzi” Hutzel, 47, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, October 7, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born October 9, 1958, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Dorothy Mayho Rebar of Uniontown and the late Frank E. Hutzel.

Frank was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Andy Sczypta.

He was a member of the Fairbanks Rod and Gun Club, the Newboro Indian Club, Vice President of the Twin Star Tavern and a graduate of the Uniontown Area Senior High School. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to play golf.

Frank is survived by his mother, Dorothy and stepfather, Bill Rebar; his beloved wife, Susan Murtha Hutzel; his loving and devoted daughter, Katherine Hutzel and fianc?, Rob Guard; the following brothers and sisters: Sheila Phelan and husband, Bill of Uniontown, Ronald Hutzel and wife, Trish of Bland, Virginia, Betty Williams and husband, Sheldon of Dillsburg, Pa., Janie Rusko and husband, Conley of Uniontown, Andrea Hriscisce and husband, Sam of Uniontown, Andy Sczypta and wife, Mi of Orwell, Ohio and several loving nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his special nephews: Tommy and Tony; special uncle, Frank Muday and wife, Sissy; several other loving aunts and uncles, members of the Murtha family; and other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., on Monday, October 9, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday morning, October 10, 2006, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with the Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F. officiating.

Interment follows in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
