Hearing center announces availability of new system
Yareck’s Better Hearing Center announced it has successfully completed training on Starkey Laboratories’ revolutionary new hearing system, which provides hearing aid users with more natural, more normal hearing, quicker. The new Starkey hearing system includes the Destiny line of smart hearing aids, the intuitive Inspire OS software and Starkey’s proprietary nFusion technology.
In an industry first, Starkey’s new hearing system leverages the power of nanoscience – science at the molecular level – to pack more features than ever into the Destiny hearing aid. Destiny is the only line of hearing aids in the world to offer three specific features that address users’ most common complaints, including Active Feedback Intercep, which gets rid of that annoying whistling sound often associated with wearing hearing aids; a Directional Speech Detector, which lets users hear exactly what they want to hear; and Acoustic Signature, which automatically adjusts for and to different listening environments. The two-day technical training that the staff at Yareck’s completed at Starkey’s Eden Prairie, Minn., headquarters included overviews of the Destiny product line and the Inspire OS software, hearing system demonstrations and hands-on hearing system trials. More than 2,000 audiologists completed the training in preparation for Starkey’s April 6 worldwide product launch.
