Marie (Lazzaro) Hegyes
Marie (Lazzaro) Hegyes, 91, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on October 5, 2006. She was born on June 4, 1915, in Fossa, Italy.
Marie was an excellent cook and was noted for her generosity, songs and stories about Italian culture.
Her husband, Mike Hegyes and a sister, Helen Lazzaro, predeceased her.
Marie is survived by the following children: Regina Fondots and husband, Lynn, Bernadine Whited, Libby Hegyes, Michelle Ritsko and husband, Bill and Michael Hegyes and wife, Patty; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Holmes and Joe; and sisters: Louise Livingston and Villa Eadie.
A private visitation with family members only will be held and a Blessing Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa.
