Nancy Vernon, Fayette County district attorney, will be the speaker.
JO KRIZ CIRCLE will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Helen Grubb will present the program, “Our Time and Giving to Missions.
‘GALLATIN AVENUE CONCERNED C ITIZENS, Uniontown, will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Post 51 Home, North Gallatin Avenue. A city police officer will speak on the Crime Watch program.
UNIONTOWN HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the band room.
DEACONESS BOARD at Interfaith Assembly for Christ Church, 7 Butler St., Uniontown, will hold a concert by Sweet Victory Choir on Oct. 22 at 5 p.m., in remembrance of deceased members. NEWELL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold a soup, sandwich and bake sale Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Chicken noodle, potato and vegetable soups, hot sausage sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs with kraut will be available as well as pies and beverage.
