Teenager missing
Judy M. Murphy, 14, of 163 Pearl Lane, Connellsville, has been missing since Friday, state police said. Police said Murphy did not return home after school and that she is possibly in the area of Connellsville or Dunbar.
Murphy was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, gray Capri pants and white tennis shoes, police said, noting that she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 160 pounds, with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on Murphy’s whereabouts is asked to call the Uniontown state police barracks at 724-439-7111.

Store robbed
City police said they are investigating an incident that occurred Sunday morning at Little Caesar’s pizza shop, located at 456 Morgantown St. According to police, officers responded to a panic alarm from the shop at 8:10 a.m.
A female employee told police she came in the shop at 8 a.m. and discovered a hole had been cut in the side of the safe. Police said a suspicious vehicle was found parked behind the shop and that a man was taken into custody for questioning. The man admitted to no wrong doing and allegedly agreed to a polygraph test, according to police.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Copper items stolen
State police said someone stole approximately $4,375 worth of copper items from Saint Rita’s Cemetery located on Shultz Avenue between 8 p.m. Sept. 17 and 5 p.m. Sept. 18. Police said numerous brass and copper headstone urns and veteran flag holders were stolen.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Uniontown state police barracks at 724-439-7111. Also, police are asking any scrap dealers to contact the police immediately if offered the items described above.

Money stolen
State police said money was stolen from the Subway in Uniontown Mall between 2:35 and 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Tools stolen
Charles R. Matthews of Uniontown told state police at 8:30 a.m. Friday that someone stole several tools that belonged to him from a 123 Edison St. location, police said.
South Union Twp.
Female cited
State police said Jeneane M. Ayers of Uniontown received a traffic citation following a vehicle accident in which vehicles driven by Ayers and Theodore G. Benward of Uniontown crashed on Morgantown Road near the Metro Plaza at 4:25 p.m. Friday. Police said neither the drivers of the vehicles nor a passenger in Ayers’ vehicle were injured. No information was given on two juveniles who were also passengers in Ayers’ vehicle, according to police.

Motorcycle stolen
Eugene G. Zuzak of Mount Pleasant told state police someone entered the garage on his 169 Rice School Road property and stole a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle and various tools sometime Thursday or Friday, police said.

Copper stolen
State police said someone broke into the building that houses Brothers Iron and Metal’s in Dunbar and stole approximately $600 worth of copper and $100 worth of change from the Elm Grove Road building between 4 p.m. Thursday and 5:45 a.m. Friday.

One injured
State police said Robert Olsen, 59, of Denbo suffered injuries when vehicles driven by Patricia George, 50, of Denbo and Robert Newbraugh, 52, of Oliver crashed on Route 40 near the Kwik Fill service station at 3:50 p.m. Saturday. Olsen was a passenger in George’s vehicle, said police.

Mailbox stolen
Ruth Beal of Dunbar told state police someone stole the mailbox off her 139 Dunbar Ohiopyle Road property between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, police said.

Three to be charged
State police said three people from Smock, Uniontown and Adah will be charged with disorderly conduct. Police alleged all three people were involved in a physical altercation at 1:46 p.m. Saturday at Uniontown Mall.

Items stolen
Justin Williams, 21, of McClellandtown told state police someone stole a car stereo and two 12-inch subwoofers from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at 1633 McClellandtown Road between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Car keyed
According to state police, someone keyed a car belonging to Colleen Valosen of Clarksville while it was parked at the Eat ‘N Park along Route 40 at 12:28 p.m. Saturday.

Vehicle crashes
State police said Jacqueline Sumey of Chestnut Ridge was not injured when her vehicle crashed on Hatfield Road at 2:20 p.m. Saturday. Robert Glover of Chestnut Ridge, a passenger in Sumey’s vehicle, was also not injured, according to police.

Michael Smith, 23, of Confluence told state police someone entered his Tub Run Road residence between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday and stole two rifles from a wooden gun locker in his bedroom, police said.

Vehicles crash
State police said no one was injured in a four-vehicle accident that occurred at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Gallatin Avenue and Bute Road. Police said the vehicles were driven by Julia Florkevich, 86; Andrew Joseph, 24; Susan Palmer, 35; and Gregg Byers, 46.

David Newcomer, 25, of Uledi told state police someone entered his 912 Penn St. residence through a window on the side of his home and removed a computer, game station and monitor between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Deborah Zangakis of Republic told state police someone entered her vehicle while it was parked at her Penn Street residence and stole her purse and cell phone between 3 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

State police said Raymond Sigwalt, 50, of New Salem reported that someone jumped on the hood and roof of his vehicle while it was parked along Water Street in Brownsville between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Friday.

Vehicle stolen
State police said someone entered an unlocked vehicle belonging to George Swaney, 58, of Lemont Furnace between 6 and 10:55 p.m. Friday while it was parked in a lot at 1688 New Salem Road and stole the vehicle, fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

Woman charged
Janine Sterdis, 24, of Star Junction was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after she allegedly crashed her vehicle into a vehicle parked on Memorial Drive at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the unattended vehicle was owned by Jason Haller of Perryopolis.

Woman cited
State police said Robin Elaine Richey, 39, of Everson was cited for harassment after she allegedly harassed Sara Marsh, 51, of Everson during an incident at a residence along Gaff Street at 10:49 a.m. Friday.

Vehicle scratched
State police said someone scratched a vehicle belonging to Scott Marvin, 31, no address given, while it parked at a business on Matthew Drive between 4 and 4:10 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the damage was estimated at $500.

Man charged
Chaz Reed, 25, of Edenborn was charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly damaged vehicles owned by Robin Hairston of Ronco and Carol Hartley of Masontown at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, state police said.
