George W. Dice
George W. Dice, age 62, of Uniontown, Pa., went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, October 5, 2006, from Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 23, 1944, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Omer Dice and Mary Fisher Dice.
George was a member of Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown and graduated from the former German Township High School in McClellandtown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Sprusansky Dice; his loving and devoted children: George M. Dice and his wife, Sonya, of Hopwood, Pa., and Cheryl Dice of Uniontown; his grandchildren whom he cherished: Brett, Tyler and Dylan; and brothers: Wallace Dice and his wife, LouAnn, of Mercersburg, Pa., and Darrell Dice and his wife, Helen, of Greensboro, Pa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Patrick Dice, Wallace Dice Jr., Michael Dice, Michelle Moquin, Heather Moats and Ashley Dice; brother-in-law, August “Butch” Sprusansky; and other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., this morning (Monday, October 9) until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
Divine Liturgy follows at 10:30 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, East Main Street, with the Rev. Father Thomas J. Wesdock as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Parastas Service was held in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7 p.m.
