A Fayette County man was shot twice outside of an East Huntingdon Township bar, said state police at Greensburg. John William Beckett, no age listed, of Champion was shot while getting into his car in the parking lot of the Lager House on old Route 119, police said.

Police indicated the shooting occurred between 9 p.m. Friday at 1 p.m. Saturday, but did not release any further information or say what type of injuries Beckett sustained.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked the state police barracks at 724-832-3288.
