Mount Pleasant Twp. Man charged

State police at Greensburg charged Andrezej Zielke of Allison Park with forgery after he allegedly forged a prescription on Oct. 3 from a physician employed at the Doctor’s Office, 603 N. Church St., police said.

Window broken

City police said someone broke a window out of a vacant residence at 4 Vance St. at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday. A woman caller reported four boys, all approximately 10 years old, had been in the area prior to the incident, police said.

K-9 assist

City police said Sgt. Wayne Brown and his K-9, Brutus, assisted state police with a traffic stop in the area of Woodview Terrace at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday. Brutus searched the vehicle for contraband, police said.

Charges pending

State police said retail theft charges are pending against a 23-year-old woman who allegedly stole a tube of anti-itch cream from Pechin’s Enterprises located at 1952 University Drive at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Springhill Twp.

Tires punctured

Adolph Cook, 45, of Lake Lynn told state police someone punctured two of the tires on his vehicle while it was parked at his residence at 4:06 p.m. Monday, police said.

Stewart Twp.

Motorcycle accident

State police said Bryan Osler, 40, of Markleysburg was involved in a motorcycle accident on Route 381, less than a mile south of Tower Road, at 7 p.m. Monday. No further information was available from police.

Fairchance

Vehicle stolen

Carol J. Glover of Fairchance told state police a known man stole her 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT from her 107 W. Church St. residence at 3:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

South Union Twp.

Man grabbed

State police said harassment charges will be filed against a 44-year-old Waterford man who allegedly grabbed Raymond Jaszczak, 36, of Uniontown by the neck and hit Jaszczak in the face during an argument over money at a Bryson Boulevard residence at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

North Union Twp.

Order violated

State police said Jeffrey Thomas, 20, of Uniontown violated a protection from abuse order when he spoke to an unidentified victim during an incident at a Coolspring Street location at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 21.
