Asbury U.M. Church plans Pumpkin Festival

Asbury United Methodist Church, corner of Beeson Avenue and Dunbar Sreet, Uniontown, will hold its annual Pumpkin Festival Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall. More than 30 area crafters will sell items as wood crafts, ceramics, jewelry, florals, crocheted items, baked goods, candy, baskets and more. Kitchen will serve chili, chicken noodle soup, ham barbeque and hot dogs. Homemade pumpkin pies will also be sold. Kids’ corner will be available. Admission to the festival is 50 cents. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day. Getting ready for the event are (from left) Tom Wallace, LaVonne Childs, the Rev.
