Mary B. Shuppe
Mary B. Shuppe, 72, of Dilliner, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006, in Millcreek Manor, Erie, Pa., where she had resided for the past several years. She was born August 9, 1934, at Maidsville, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore “Samuel” and Antoniette Sharrot Basile.
A graduate of University High School, she was raised as a Catholic, and attended the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Dilliner.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Shuppe, Sr. on Feb. 22, 1997, a sister, Angeline, and two brothers, Carl and John Basile.
Surviving are her five loving children, Shirley Ann Shuppe of Erie, Nicholas Shuppe, Jr., Andrew Shuppe and Alexandr Shuppe, all of Dilliner, and Joseph Shuppe of Elkins, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Yvonne Michele, Scott Nicholas, and Ryan Michael; and two sisters, Rose Panson and Antoinette Hill, both of Morgantown.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. William L. Parker officiating.
Interment follows in the Ross Cemetery on the Shuppe Family Farm in Newtown, Dilliner, Pa.
