Sylvia C. Morris
Sylvia C. Morris, 83, of Willoughby, Ohio, died Sunday, October 15, 2006, in Hospice of Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio She was born October 31, 1922, in Carmichaels, Pa., a daughter of the late Elmer and Christina Hower Murphy.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. She and her late husband were apartment managers in Willoughby.
She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Willoughby.
On January 26, 1945, she married Edward Morris, who died March 8, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Edward Morris Jr., of Carmichaels; a daughter, Patricia Bogden and her husband Frank of Waynesburg, Pa; six grandchildren, Frank Bogden, Brian Bogden, Craig Morris and Michelle Rudgers and Samantha Rudgers; five great-grandchildren, Maddison Bogden, Brian Bogden Jr., Shannon Morris, Conner Morris and Maxwell Rudgers; three sisters, Edna Varesko of Euclid, Ohio, Dorothy Seni of Rocky River, Ohio and Peg Teagarden of Carmichaels; a brother, Charles Murphy of Glennie, Michigan; and sister-in-law Clara Murphy of Stringtown.
Friends will be received in the BEHM FUNERAL HOMES INC., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, where services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2006, with Pastor Paul Schmiete officiating.
Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
