Boy struck

State police said a vehicle driven by Andrea Fields of Uniontown collided with a bicycle ridden by Travis Maraugha, 14, of Uniontown at 250 Edison St. at 4:22 p.m. Police said Maraugha was attempting to perform a trick on the bike when he lost control of the bicycle and traveled into traffic. He suffered injuries in the crash and was flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. for treatment, police said.

Man charged

Daryl Steven Lamoreau, 25, of Clinton, was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass after he engaged in a physical altercation on High Street in California at 8:02 p.m. Saturday, borough police said.

Man cited

California police said Nicholas Brancanti, 23, of Monroeville was cited for public drunkenness after he was found under the influence of alcohol in the borough at 10:50 p.m. Saturday.

Two cited

Eric S. Yeagley, 19, and Jeffrey Lewis, 19, both of Cranberry Township, were each cited for the underage drinking after an incident in the borough at 10:26 p.m. Oct. 13, California police said.

Vehicle recovered

Uniontown police said a Pontiac Grand Am that had been reported stolen was recovered in Pershing Court at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday

Wharton Twp.

Woman injured

State police said Philippa Glover of Markleysburg suffered moderate injuries after she fell off a motorcycle operated by an unidentified man on Marker Road at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 16. The driver of the motorcycle fled the scene after the woman fell from the bike and Glover refused to identify him, police said. Glover was subsequently charged with failure to give information, police said.
