Barbara Ann Sholtis Keener
Barbara Ann Sholtis, 65, of Fairchance, Pa., died Friday, October 20, 2006, in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born July 17, 1941, in Continental Two, Pa., daughter of the late Mary Morganisky Sholtis.
She was predeceased by her mother and one sister, Mary Kay Sholtis.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick Keener; two sons, Andrew Keener of Fairchance, Pa. and Matthew Keener and his wife, Alexandra of Las Vegas, Nevada; her father, Andy Sholtis of Continental Two, Pa., one sister, Bernadette Ptak and her husband, John of Uniontown, Pa.; and one brother, Andrew Sholtis and his wife, Donna of Uniontown.

Barbara was a schoolteacher in the Albert Gallatin School District for 25 years and a member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, Pa.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, Pa. with the Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.
