Myrtle Laura Solomon, 94, of Decherd, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006, in her home. She was born in Dunkard Township, Pa., and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters: Shirley (Albert) Kelly of Brunswick, Ohio, Jeannetta (Dave) Henley of Decherd, Tenn., and Cindy (Mike) Parker of Orlando, Fla.; sons, Forrest (Louise) Solomon of Berea, Ohio, and Ricky Solomon of Orlando, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Earl Solomon and daughter, Donna Jean Howard.

Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, in Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, Carmichaels, Pa., Burial was held in the Green Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice or Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church.
