Richard S. Jameson, 80, of Charleroi, Pa., died Tuesday, October 24, 2006, in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born November 25, 1925, in Brownsville, son of the late Arthur A. and Amy Snyder Jameson. He was Methodist by faith and a board member of Redstone Cemetery.

A United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was retired from the Pennsylvania & Lake Erie Railroad.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Cunningham Jameson; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert L. and Louise Jameson of Brownsville. Also surviving are one niece, Holly J. Winans and one nephew, Robert C. Jameson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Adelbert Jameson in 1981.

Friends will be received in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Northey officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
