Bus trip planned Connellsville High School’s Mighty Falcon Marching Band is sponsoring a bus trip to Atlantic City, on Saturday, Nov. 18, and returning Sunday, Nov. 19.
According to organizers, the bus will leave Connellsville Wal-Mart at 6 a.m., Saturday and return to Wal-Mart at 6 a.m., Sunday.
Organizers said the cost is $70 per person, with a $30 voucher from Caesar’s.
Reservations can be made by calling Robin Kennison at 724-547-2503. A deposit of $35 is needed by Tuesday, Oct. 31, with the remaining balance due by Monday, Nov. 13.
Additionally, deposits can be mailed to Kennison, 103 Cherry Lane, Mount Pleasant, Pa., 15666.
Yearbooks arrive
The 2005-2006 Connellsville Area Senior High School yearbooks will be distributed the week of Oct. 30. According to officials, the yearbooks may be picked up during the following two lunch periods: 11 a.m. and noon during the week and from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, near the athletic office. The cost of the yearbooks is $55 and no checks will be accepted.
