Marcia Marie Burke, 59, of Smithfield, Pa., died Wednesday, October 25, 2006, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born July 16, 1947, in Smithfield, Pa., the daughter of Frank Smith and the late Lola Swihart Smith.

Marcia graduated from Albert Gallatin High School with the Class of 1965. She attended Masontown Evangelical Mennonite Church and Faith Baptist Church in Morgantown, W.Va.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Thomas S. Burke; her son, T.J. Burke of Smithfield; a brother, Larry Smith and his wife, Marjorie of Warren, Ohio; a sister, Beth Ann Burd and her husband, Steve of Connellsville; and nephews and nieces, Larry, Jr., John, Sandy, Rachel, Christy, Johnny, Dan, and Kaitlyn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street in Uniontown where the family will receive friends in the funeral home on Friday, October 27, 2006, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue in the funeral home on Saturday, October 28, 2006, from 10 until 11a.m., followed by a celebration of her live at 11 a.m., with the Rev. J.W. Townsend and the Rev. Bennie Moran co-officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
