Man charged
Robert Dale Ankrom of Graysville was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct before Magisterial District Judge Lee Watson after he struck Barbara Grimm, no address given, in the face several times during an altercation at a residence in Carmichaels at 12:55 a.m. Friday, state police said.

State police said vandals damaged a car owned by Giancarlo Langeri of Uniontown while it was parked in a lot in North Union Township between 7 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Dominic Dileo of Uniontown, Gary Arnold Jr. of Smithfield and Donna Lewis of Fairchance collided on Route 119 at 10:04 a.m. Thursday.

State police said the driver of a vehicle that rolled over on Old Braddock Road fled the scene before emergency personnel arrived after the accident at 11:50 a.m. Monday.

Cars collide
State police said vehicles driven by Mark Gibson of Fairchance and Dena Weimer of Smithfield collided at the intersection of Morgantown Road and Route 857 at 7:35 p.m. Thursday. A passenger in Gibson’s vehicle, Dawn Gibson of Fairchance, suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Three injured
State police said vehicles driven by Tami Findle of Hunker and Wilbert Burnsworth of Connellsville collided on Ruffsdale Road at 1:06 p.m. Oct. 4. Both drivers along with a passenger in Burnsworth’s vehicle, Tina Black of Scottdale, suffered moderate injuries in the crash, police said.

Stephanie Sanner, 32, of Acme told state police someone stole a school reimbursement check from her mailbox, forged her name and withdrew the $1,380 from a bank account on Sept. 28. Police said the matter is under investigation.

Jennifer Gregorich, 27, of Waynesburg told state police someone smashed the window of her vehicle and stole her wallet from inside Wednesday or Thursday. Police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the incident to call the state police barracks at 724-627-6151.

State police cited Fred Eugene Tenorio, 34, of Waynesburg with criminal mischief after he allegedly caused $20 worth of damage to a front screen door owned by Harold James Baldwin, 54, also of Waynesburg, at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday.

State police said an empty school bus and a truck collided on McNay Ridge Road at 4:36 p.m. Thursday. Richard Lohz, of Holbrook, who was driving the truck, was treated for a leg injury at Waynesburg Hospital. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, the police said.

State police charged a 17-year-old boy with harassment after allegedly fighting with a 15-year-old boy at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Vehicles driven by Sarah J. Pattee, 25, of Memphis, Tenn., and Paul I. Henderson, 81, of Pittsburgh, collided at an off ramp on Interstate 79 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to state police. No one was injured.

A vehicle driven by Cade Stevens, of Dawson, hit an embankment on rural road at 2:25 p.m. Friday, according to state police. Stevens and passenger Matthew Schreckengost suffered moderate injuries.
