Results from the recent livestock auctions and crop sales in the region were as follows: The Pennsylvania Livestock Market Report for Waynesburg for Oct. 26 is as follows:

CATTLE:

STOCK COWS: 45 to 66.

SLAUGHTER COWS: Utility and commercial, 48-57.50; boner and boning utility, 44-50; cutter and boning utility, 40-47; canner and low cutter, 37 to 43.50; shells, 37 down.

BULLS: Yield grade 1, 1,500-2,000 pounds, 50-61; grade 2, 1,000-1,400 pounds, 52-70.

FEEDER STEERS: Medium and light, 1, 300-500 pounds, 90-130; 250-280 pounds, 110-132; 600-900 pounds, 75-112.

HEIFERS: Medium and light, 1, 300-500 pounds, 90-122; light 1, 400-650 pounds, 75 to 115.

BULLS: Medium and light, 1, 300-620 pounds, 75-130.

CALVES: Veal…prime, 70-115; choice, 60-84; good, 40-84.

CATTLE: 515…(PDA) cows sold steady; slaughter bulls sold steady at 1.50 higher

STEERS: Select 1-2, 61-65.

HOLSTEIN STEERS: Select 1-2, 65.50-68. Standard 1-2, 57-62.50.

COWS: Breakers, 75-80 percent lean, 48-59.50. Boners, 80-85 percent lean, 45-48.50. Lean, 85-90 percent lean, 400-45. Shells, 39 and down.

BULLS: Yield grade 1, 1,100-1,975 pounds 58-62. Yield grade 2, 1,250-2,180 pounds 52-57.50.

FEEDER CATTLE:

STEERS: few Medium and large 1, 335-485 pounds, 103-111; 525-610 pounds 96-100. Few Medium and large 2, 525-870 pounds, 87-91.
