Pauline K. Savage
Pauline K. Savage, 91, of Markleysburg, Pa., died Thursday, October 26, 2006, in Kamps Personal Care Home, Markleysburg, Pa. She was born December 16, 1914, in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Modespaugh Caton.
She was a member of the Canaan Church of the Brethren.
Pauline is survived by two sons: Floyd Savage, Jr. of Attica, Michigan and David Ray Savage of Roseville, Michigan; six daughters: Ethel Wolfe of Markleysburg, Linda Wood of Mount Clemens, Michigan; Marlen Matlick of Chalk Hill, Pa., Nancy Garica of Citrus, Florida, JoAnna Jackson of Gulfport, Mississippi and Cindy Compa of Crystal River, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Viola Savage of Export, Pa.; 27 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Savage in 1986, a son, Charles Savage, eight sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at the CARL R. SPEAR FUNERAL HOME, BRANDONVILLE-BRUCETON MILLS, WEST VIRGINIA today, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 30, 2006, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Donnie Savage officiating.
Burial will be in the Sansom Chapel Cemetery, Farmington, Pa.
