Polisoto-Friend
Lori Friend of East Amherst, N.Y., and formerly of Uniontown, and Dave Polisoto of East Amherst, were united in marriage on July 8. The ceremony and reception were held at the couple’s home in East Amherst.
The bride is the daughter of Wade and Brenda Friend of Whyel Avenue, Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of David Polisoto from Albion, N.Y., and Sandra Porpiglia of Newark, N.Y.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory A-line gown adorned with satin trim and beading.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and is a student at Medaille College, studying toward a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed at The Waters of Gasport Skilled Nursing Facility as a business office manager.
The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Newark High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Buffalo. He is a mechanical engineer with Delphi Corp.
The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
They are residing in East Amherst.
