Community calendar – Oct. 30
MENALLEN GRANGE 1091 will hold its annual turkey dinner, for members and family only, on Friday at 6 p.m. Meat, rolls and beverage will be provided. Members are to bring a covered dish. A literary program will be presented. There will be no business meeting. CURFEW GRANGE and Recreation Center, Route 201, Flatwoods, will hold an indoor flea market Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Soup and salad bar will be available.
UNIONTOWN HIGH SCHOOL chaperones and tagalongs going on the trip to Florida will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the high school.
MOUNTAIN FELLOWSHIP CENTER, Markleysburg, will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Lunch counter, tables for rent inside and outside, weather permitting, will be available. To reserve a table, call 724-329-0545.
CONNELLSVILLE CHURCH OF GOD, 126 Breakneck Ave., Connellsville, next to the Connellsville Senior High School, will hold a holiday bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crafts, holiday decorations, baked goods, coins, candy, homemade soups, sandwiches, door prizes and more will be available.
ST. MARY CHURCH, Leckrone, Rosary Society, will hold a turkey bingo Sunday at 2 p.m. in the social hall.
