Brownsville hires 22 new teachers
The Brownsville Area School District hired 22 new teachers this year basically due to retirements at the conclusion of the last school term, according to district officials. The new teachers were afforded an orientation session at the Brownsville Middle School on Thursday, Aug. 24. There they were given a welcome message and information from Superintendent Lawrence L. Golembiewski, Dr. Harry Miale (assistant superintendent) and the building principals of the school district. Afterwards they were trained on the district’s data management system, Logic House.
