Dorothy M. Petrisko Rossini, R.N.
Dorothy M. Petrisko Rossini, R.N., age 78, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, September 2, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on April 2, 1928, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of John Petrisko and Kati Mutsko Petrisko.
Dorothy was a member of Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church where she served as an usher. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 in Uniontown.
A very respected Registered Nurse, she retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and had also worked at the former Brownsville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Anthony V. Rossini, her sisters, Mary Flesher, Ann White, Catherine George and Arlene Avera, and brothers, John Petrisko and Frank Petrisko.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Rossini of Arizona; her sisters: Helen Bauman of Erie, Pa., and Julia Majersky of Arizona; also several close and cherished friends: Chris Andrews, Gerry Dorobish and Denise DelGrecco; and other loving relatives, friends and neighbors.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today, September 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday morning, September 5, until 10:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
Divine Liturgy follows at 11 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, East Main Street, with the Rev. Father Thomas J. Wesdock as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
