Eary Marcella Brown Dantzler
Eary Marcella Brown Dantzler, 81, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born July 14, 1925, in Allison, Pa., the daughter of Manson Brown and Eary Hamilton Brown. Eary was one of 13 children.
She was a graduate of East Bethlehem High School.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a charter member of Interfaith Assembly for Christ, Uniontown, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodney, seven sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel W. Dantzler Sr.; children, Nathaniel Jr. (Nikki) of Uniontown, Pa., Gregory (Marian) of Leckrone, Pa. and Jacqueline (Marny) McLee of Dover, Delaware; five grandchildren, Marcella Dantzler, Gregory Dantzler II, Marny McLee II, Jade McLee and Andria Dantzler; three sisters, Lucy Meadows of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mary (Edward) Adkins of Homestead, Pa. and Virginia Hope (Walter) McKeithan of Allison, Pa. and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., today, September 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 6, until 11 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Howard E. Dantzler Sr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.
