Clifford A. “Cliff” Radabaugh, 77, of Fairchance, Pa., died Monday, September 4, 2006, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia He was born February 5, 1929, in Masontown, West Virginia, son of Foster O. Radabaugh and Evva Christopher Radabaugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dwight Radabaugh.

Cliff was a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean Conflict.

He was employed as an ESS Switchman for the now former Bell Telephone Company for 38 years until his retirement.

Cliff was a faithful member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairchance where he served in many offices for over 53 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 342 and Alfred Wilson Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7219 both of Fairchance. He also served faithfully as a volunteer fire fighter and ambulance attendant with the Fairchance Volunteer Fire Department and the Fairchance Firemen’s Ambulance for many years. Cliff was the President of the Mount Zion Cemetery Association of Masontown, West Virginia.

Surviving as his loving wife of 53 years, Martha Walters Radabaugh, two daughters, Kathleen Morris and husband Dennis, Connellsville, Pa. and Melinda Weltman and husband Bill of New Castle, Pa, four grandchildren, Megan and Sarah Morris and William and James Weltman, sister-in-law, Wilma Radabaugh of Kingwood, West Virginia and two special nieces, Sharon Maletta and Rhonda Wolfe.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, September 7, until 10 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Dr. Joong Koe and the Rev. Maggie Foreman officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa. with Military Rites being accorded at graveside by AMVETS Post 103.
