Florence Dillinger Swaniger, 94, of Clarksville, Pa., died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 in Southwest Medical Center, Waynesburg. She was born November 12, 1911, in Menallen Township, Fayette County, a daughter of the late John Allen Craft and Daisy Barbara Thomas.

Mrs. Swaniger was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church of Clarksville.

Surviving are three children: Barbara Arlene Pevic of Virginia Beach, Va.; John Allen Dillinger of Delray, W. Va., and Alice Marie Solomon of Arcadia, Cal.; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; three sisters: Ethel Whetsel of Upper Middletown, Mary Forkin of Bobtown, Betty Dilliner of Brunswick, Ohio; two brothers: John Allen Craft Jr., of Upper Middletown and Edward Craft of Alexandria, Va.

Deceased are her first husband, Charles Stewart Dillinger, her second husband, Gay Swaniger; three sisters, Marie Leichliter, Ruth Bosley and Thelma Derosa; and a brother, William Craft.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday in the BEHM FUNERAL HOMES INC., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2006, in Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church of Clarksville with the Rev. Dr. John Garvin officiating.

Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
