Lamoon (Naudthaisong) Reckner, 58, of Uledi, Pa., went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2006. She passed away at home, with her loving husband at her side, following 33 years of marriage. Lamoon was born on April 2, 1948, in Thailand, daughter of the late Sing and Mee (Tangkum) Naudthaisong. There she married her beloved husband, William D. Reckner, Sr. on August 23, 1973. In 1975 she came to the United States, and proudly became a United States Citizen on September 19, 1986.

For over ten years Lamoon was a newspaper carrier for the Herald-Standard. She loved delivering newspapers to her customers in Balsinger, Uledi, and along Route 21, everyday and to everyone. She also cherished time spent attending Bible Baptist Church with her four granddaughters.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, William D. Reckner, Sr., lovingly known as “Mr. Bill”; three children: Susie Reckner, William D. Reckner, Jr., and Clifford D. Reckner, all of Uledi, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Samantha R. Reckner, Vincent L. Sickles, Jr., Corey Sickles, Shaina L. Reckner, Novalee Reckner, Audrey M. Reckner, and Lacey S. Reckner; four brothers: Lee, Paul, Promma, and Sada Naudthaisong; and two sisters, Nak and Tongyong Naudthaisong, all of Thailand.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, September 9, 2006, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with pastor Dale Redick officiating

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
