HAYDENTOWN VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children. Take-out orders will be available by calling 724-564-1999. CARMICHAELS GRANGE will hold a pancake and buckwheat cakes/sausage breakfast Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Meals are $5 for adults and $4 for children.

UNIONTOWN HIGH SCHOOL RED RAIDER BAND BOOSTER meeting will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the band room.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS, Court 505, Uniontown, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at St. Theresa Social center, Morgantown Street. Members are to note the change in time.

NORTH UNION VFW POST 8543 Ladies Auxiliary will meet at 7:15 p.m. Monday at the post home.

EDWARD HAINES, HELEN HICKEL family reunion will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 16 at the Appalachian Park, Route 857, one mile past Rich’s Farm. Those attending are to bring a covered dish.

ST. MARY CHURCH, Crucible, will hold its annual festival on Sunday. D.J. Ralph will play music from noon to 3 p.m. and The Vibrations will play polkas from 3 to 6 p.m. Ethnic foods, funnel cakes, pizza, hot dogs, chicken and other food items will be available. Games for all ages, Chinese auction, bingo and 50/50 will be featured.

SMOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT Ladies Auxiliary will hold a grocery bingo on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. in the social hall. It is open to the public.

ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Youth will hold a yard sale Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. followed by a fall carnival beginning at 11:30 a.m. Lunch, games, arts and crafts and face painting will be featured. Vendors from various product lines will be on hand. Entertainment will continue throughout the day. At 1 p.m., an organ recital by J. David Hart will be held in the church sanctuary.

MT. OLIVET BAPTIST CHURCH, 51 Stewart Ave., Uniontown, Youth Ministries, will hold a car wash on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the church grounds. Chicken and fish dinners will also be sold. Tickets are $7. For information, call Natalie Winfrey at 724-438-4844 or 724-438-7489.

ALLISON 1 FIRE DEPARTMENT will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday.

AL-ANON, a 12-step meeting for anyone affected by another person’s drinking, meets at 7:30 p.m. Fridays at the Christian Church of Connellsville, corner of Fairview Avenue and Pittsburgh Street. For more information, call 724-628-4910.
