Herbert Gene Hollowood, 69, of Hyattsville, Maryland, died Wednesday, August 9, 2006. He was born June 27, 1937, in New Eagle, Pa., the son of the late John Herbert Hollowood and Margaret Seaman Hollowood.

He was a graduate of the Uniontown Joint Senior High School class of 1955, and a veteran of the United States Navy. His wishes are to be buried in a veteran’s cemetery.

Herb is survived by his wife, Nancy; brother, Jack; sister, Margaret; and five children: Laurie Dawn, Joey, Kelley, and Michelle.
