The following people were recently sentenced in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) generally require driver’s license forfeiture and attendance in the county’s alcohol safe-driving school, and also can include admission to the Interlock Program. Keith Matthew Downs, 22, of Dunbar was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in the Fayette County Prison for DUI and four to eight months for terroristic threats and simple assault. He was ordered to make $950 in restitution to Tina Thornton.

Benteon Gettemy, 33, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to one year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jerrold Matthew Lincoln, 36, of South Connellsville was sentenced to six months’ probation for DUI.

Terry Frank Stevens, 33, of Greensburg was sentenced to 90 days’ in the Fayette County Prison for driving with a DUI-related suspended or revoked license.

Albert James Orndorff, 49, of Waynesburg was sentenced to one to two years in a state prison for retail theft and was ordered to make $1,050 in restitution to Gordon’s Jewelry.

William Eric Ison, 19, no address listed was sentenced to two to four years in a state prison for robbery and was ordered to make $500 in restitution to Fayette County.

Mary Jo Kuhns, 36, of Connellsville was sentenced to one year probation for criminal mischief and was ordered to make $250 in restitution to Jack Albright and $701.22 to Erie Insurance.

Michael Evan Gibson, 26, of Uniontown was sentenced to one to three months in the Fayette County Prison for unsworn falsification to authorities.

Walter Schurg, 52, of Connellsville was sentenced to three to 23 months in the Fayette County Prison for possession of a controlled substance.

Shaun Showman, 22, of Connellsville was sentenced to one year probation for receiving stolen property.

Christian Frezzell, 41, of Uniontown was sentenced to one year probation for retail theft and was ordered to make $54.45 to CVS Pharmacy.

Jay Ceigh Franklin, 19, of Perryopolis was sentenced to one year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Barbara Jean Johnson, 47, of Connellsville was sentenced to six months’ probation for DUI.

Jeffrey Paul Keegan, 25, of Camp Hill was sentenced to one to two years in a state prison for burglary and was ordered to make $1,880 in restitution to Harvey and Julie Knox.

Eric Demond Holcomb, 25, of Brownsville was sentenced to nine to 23 months in the Fayette County Prison for possession of a controlled substance.

David Wayne Adams, 45, of Waltersburg was sentenced to a total of one to two years in a state prison for three cases involving possession with intent to deliver drugs, receiving stolen property and transporting or purchasing from a chop shop.

Rick S. Sharp, 37, of Chester was sentenced to one to two years in a state prison for DUI, plus 90 days for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Demetreus Juan Thomas, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to five to 10 years in a state prison for robbery and was ordered to make $100 in restitution to Robert Krocak.

Kenneth Johnson, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to 30 days’ probation for possession of marijuana.

Christopher M. Dewar, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to two years’ probation for simple assault and was ordered to make $500 in restitution to James and Patricia Schwartz and $2,252.93 to Nationwide Insurance.

Allen Robert Baird, 50, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months’ Intermediate Punishment, with the first one month served on house arrest, for simple assault.

Alfred David Argiro III, 19, of Scottdale was sentenced to two years’ probation for firearms not to be carried without a license.

George William Kendall, 44, of Uniontown was sentenced to six months’ probation for DUI.

Sandra Jean Barr, 38, of Connellsville was sentenced to five years’ probation in each of two cases involving theft by deception. She was ordered to make restitution in the following amounts: $30,322.43 to South Connellsville Borough, $9,725.68 to Everson Borough and $7,225.68 to Penn National Insurance Co.

Mark Anthony Firestone Jr., 26, of Uledi was sentenced to two years’ probation for receiving stolen property.

Shane Earl Arb Jr., 20, of Dunbar was sentenced to nine months’ probation for criminal trespass and was ordered to make $55 in restitution to Monarch Volunteer Fire Department.

John Kenneth Glass III, 25, of Mount Pleasant was sentenced to 23 months’ Intermediate Punishment, with the first six months served on house arrest, for simple assault and was ordered to make $2,413.99 to the state Victim’s Compensation Board.

Eric Stephen Saunders, 27, of Uniontown was sentenced to 12 months’ Intermediate Punishment, with the first six months served on house arrest, for forgery and was ordered to make $200 in restitution to National City Bank.

Linda Marie Abel, 54, of Normalville was sentenced to three years’ probation for receiving stolen property and was ordered to make $250 in restitution to Joseph DeVanzo and $3,119 to Erie Insurance.

George Joseph Crosby, 70, of Grays Landing was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in the Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Clay D. Dobish, 35, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to six months’ Intermediate Punishment, with the first 18 days served on house arrest, for DUI.

Kerry Allan Teets, 33, of Uniontown was sentenced to 30 days’ probation for possession of a controlled substance.

Jacob Randall Springer, 22, no address listed was sentenced to a total of nine to 23 months in the Fayette County Prison for charges in six different cases. The charges were: two counts of driving with a DUI-related suspended or revoke license, prohibitive offensive weapons, fleeing or eluding police, and three counts of simple assault.
