Thelma M. Petrosky
Thelma M. Petrosky, 83, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006. She was born April 2, 1923, in Vanderbilt, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Rebecca Fuller Shazer.
Thelma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Vanderbilt, Pa., Ladies Uplift Circle and Perryopolis Senior Citizens. She was the former owner of Thelma’s Motel and Petrosky Lounge.
Thelma is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Sapko of Smithton; and two sons: Charles W. Petrosky, Jr. and wife, Pam of Perryopolis, Pa. and Ronald L. Petrosky and wife, Katherine of Belle Vernon, Pa. She has nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Thelma also has one sister, Mrs. Geraldine Addis Jr. and husband, Ronald of Vanderbilt.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Charles W. Petrosky, Sr. and one son, Donald R. Petrosky, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday in THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, VANDERBILT, Pa., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the hour of Service. Elder Jason Monaghan officiating and Elder Richard Lowther co-officiating.
Interment will be in Bowman-Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, RD 1, Pa.
