Thomas-Midlik
Renee Midlik of Uniontown and Matthew Thomas of Mount Pleasant were married June 10. The Rev. Thomas Wesdock officiated the nuptial ceremony at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown.
Parents of the bride are Andrew and Linda Midlik of Uniontown. Parents of the bridegroom are Dave Thomas of Mount Pleasant and Linda Thomas of Youngwood.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless A-line gown of organza with satin overlay, adorned with Austrian crystals and crystal beading on the bodice and sweetheart neckline. A veil was held by a tiara of Austrian crystals.
Ellen Rogers was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cindy Gerson, cousin of the bride; Lisa Dober, Gina Kimmel and Angie Maestrole, cousin of the bridegroom.
Best man was Steve Wilson. Groomsmen were Jim Maestrole, cousin of the bridegroom; Dirk Rhodes, Nick Midlik and Steve Midlik, brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall.
The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and earned a bachelor of science degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed with Hoechstetter Printing Co. in Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and is also employed with Hoechstetter Printing Co.
Following a Disney cruise, the couple is residing in New Stanton.
