Elcy W. Flock

Elcy W. Flock, 72, of Rostraver Township, Pa., died Sunday, September 10, 2006, in Saint Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born August 19, 1934, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late William V. and Grace (Enfield) Winans.

Elcy was a member and trustee of the West Newton United Presbyterian Church, a member for over 50 years and twice past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Scottdale Chapter and also served as a district deputy Grand Matron.

She was an inspector of elections in Rostraver Township.

Elcy was an avid bridge player; she belonged to several bridge clubs in the area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Robert D. Flock, an infant daughter, Sara and a sister, Susan Shea.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert M. Flock; a daughter, Barbara Lynn Wasser and husband Thomas of Macungie, Pa; a daughter-in-law, Debra M. Flock of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren, Missy Griffin, Brad Flock and Emily and Michael Wasser; a brother, David Winans and his wife, Debi of Savannah, Georgia; and five nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006, in the West Newton United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Clifford E. Buell officiating. J. WILLIAM MCCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC. of West Newton is in charge of the funeral arrangements

Interment will be in West Newton Cemetery.
